Nursing Home Administrator

Riverview Retirement Community has been on a consistent growth and expansion trajectory since its founding in 1959. Begun as a mission of the Lutheran Church, the organization is committed to providing a continuum of care for senior residents. Its 2012, $11 million renovation included the addition of a state-of–the-art aquatics center. The new free-standing 24-bed memory care unit is now opening. Construction of group homes should be completed in 2020.

Riverview sits on a 35-acre campus and includes 164 independent living homes, 135 independent/assisted living apartments, a dedicated memory care unit and a 75-bed licensed nursing facility and rehab unit with a special care unit. The high occupancy rate and current waiting list lend support for Riverview’s growth and success in the future.

Riverview now seeks a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead all facets of the nursing facility, the Care Center. As Riverview has grown, increasing strategic demands on the CEO necessitate a dedicated NHA be added to the leadership team. As Riverview continues to grow, services of the Care Center will become more exclusive to the resident community. To maintain its long-standing “Five Star” rating, the NHA will facilitate achievement of the highest standards of care.

Qualified candidates must be a licensed nursing home administrator with a minimum of five (5) years experience demonstrating success in quality, operations, finance and human resources in a nursing home. An RN or clinical orientation is strongly preferred. Candidates should have experience directly managing staff providing therapy services. Top candidates must demonstrate a penchant for the highest metrics-driven outcomes in patient care. S/he should be a calculated risk-taker and possess a collaborative leadership style.
